Falcon School District 49 ESA is working with this school district to fully implement a work order system purchased a number of years ago. ESA organized a student-training effort to gather the detailed data necessary to begin a CMMS from the ground up. High school juniors and seniors were offered a class structure where students learned to read and interpret blueprints, assemble data, and field-verify the data. Harrison School District Two The Harrison Work Order system utilized existing data scanned from a 1996 database printout as its’ basis. The work order system is designed to allow building-level custodians to enter work orders and to check work order status through a web-browser interface. Field Maintenance staff will access work orders through PDA devices or using paper-form work orders. In addition to building spaces, the work order system includes detailed data for all HVAC, Kitchen, Fire, Intercom, Telephone, Building Repair, and Site assets. Woodland Park School District RE-2 ESA fully populated the database including field surveys of equipment, establishment of Asset naming conventions, and detailed information including model numbers, serial numbers, warranty information, specifications, and parts. Turnkey installation included complete cross-referencing of available blueprints, shop drawings, and Operations and Maintenance manuals and incorporation of scanned copies of said documents to software programs and individual assets or parts. Ongoing support and training program is contracted for five years. Vail Resorts ESA designed and installed Vail’s ‘ASP-model’ work order system used in maintaining equipment on Vail Mountain and the Base Area for all resort-owned ski and restaurant facilities. Vail’s work order system runs entirely over the Internet, with no installed components on Vail’s servers. Restaurant and department managers can request and check the status of their work orders on line, and the work orders are relayed to technicians via PDA devices. Pitkin County, Colorado ESA is implementing a work order system for the county, operational in Summer, 2004 with the intent to expand the system to roadway maintenance and other county needs. Nor’Wood Development Group ESA provided software and training for the establishment of a computer database. Little Nell Hotel, Aspen Ski Corporation ESA provided turnkey development and implementation of a work order/planned maintenance system for hotel operations. |
