Sustainable Design StandardsESA proposed, developed, and secured state grants for the development of sustainable design standardsJuly Energy Service Associates Inc. has secured state grant funding for the development of sustainable design standards for Falcon School District 49 and the State of Colorado. Grant money funded the Falcon School District 49 LEED Guidelines Committee to establish an outline of how sustainable design could be incorporated into K-12 school design and construction. The committee concluded: “The attainment of High Performance design and construction as defined by LEED™ is within reach for all school facilities. High Performance facilities enhance the learning environment, last longer, cost the same or slightly more to design and build and require less to operate and maintain.” For More Information Contact: |
